Born on December 12, 1991 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Western Ukraine, Anna Zaiachkivska has built a life at the intersection of art, service, and global cultural leadership.

She graduated with top honors—earning a gold medal from Ukrainian Gymnasium No. 2 and a Master of Fine Arts (Red Diploma)from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Institute of Art—and was nominated “Best Student of the Year” in Western Ukraine.

Anna’s commitment to service began early. As a student, she led her local Greek Ukrainian Catholic youth organization “Emmanuel” at the Khram of Tsarya Khrysta church, writing and producing stage plays that carried spiritual and moral messages for youth. Her work extended beyond the stage into children’s shelters, correctional facilities, and retirement homes, alongside organizing donation drives to support children from underprivileged families.

Her artistic career flourished in parallel. She became the leading actress of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Philharmonic and a soloist with the musical ensemble “Ave Maria,” performing original songs at religious festivals across Ukraine.

In 2012, she won the crown at the national competition “Princess of Prykarpattya” and was named “Best Top Model of Ukraine.” In 2013, she won the country’s top title—Miss World Ukraine—using the platform to expand her charity work, including partnerships delivering essential food support to children in orphanages and shelters.

That same year, Anna represented Ukraine at Miss World in Bali, Indonesia, placing in the Top 20 overall and earning 2nd place in the Talent category for her original song, “Moment of Glory.” She was soon invited to television programs as a voice on human rights, social issues, and culture.

When Ukraine’s Maidan Revolution began, Anna chose action over silence—supporting exhausted volunteers in the Maidan kitchen, assisting at the free “university,” working with independent media, and helping in a makeshift hospital during the most violent moments. Her stance was clear:
“I know exactly what I was doing… We were all equally involved in this fight.”

Following the revolution, her modeling career expanded internationally—first to Italy, where she worked in the high-fashion world of Milan, and later to the United States. Wherever she lived, her mission remained constant: supporting children and strengthening Ukrainian communities through art and service.

In New York, her civic leadership includes work with the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (Branch 137, New Jersey), serving as Art & Culture Chair at The Ukrainian Museum (East Village), and acting as a board member for the U.S. fundraising team supporting the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.

As an artist, Anna founded her studio “Zaia Art House,” collaborated with galleries across New York and beyond, and donated artworks to charitable auctions supporting causes including the Order of Malta’s White Cross Ball, We Are All Human Foundation, AI for Good Foundation, and Art for Humanity.

Her message is simple—and urgent:
“We need to hear voices of the less fortunate, understand their struggle, and help how we can—by being who we are.”
